Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, once celebrated for his explosive batting, is now facing serious health challenges. A recent video showing Kambli struggling has raised concerns among his fans.
Kambli’s health issues are not new. In 2013, he suffered a heart attack while driving in Mumbai, and in 2012, he underwent angioplasty to clear blockages in his arteries. These incidents have significantly impacted his overall health.
Kambli has also openly discussed his battle with depression and his struggle with alcohol addiction. Despite multiple attempts to quit, including several stints in rehab, his addiction persists.
In response to Kambli’s deteriorating health, members of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning team, including Kapil Dev, have offered to help. However, they have made it clear that Kambli must take the first step by checking into rehab himself.
Seeing Kambli’s condition, Kapil Dev and other teammates have pledged financial support for his treatment, emphasizing the importance of Kambli’s willingness to seek help.
